yaourt -Sy lib32-libidn lib32-libpng12 nspluginwrapper-debian
pacman -S zip

create the folder /usr/lib/xulrunner-addons/plugins

sudo mkdir -p /usr/lib/xulrunner-addons/plugins

download LinuxPersonal.tgz from https://install.bankid.com/. Unpack and install it:

tar -xvf LinuxPersonal.tgz
cd personal-<your.version>
sudo ./install.<your.version>.sh i

now nspluginwrap it

nspluginwrapper -i /usr/lib/xulrunner-addons/plugins/libplugins.so

and that should be it! you can try it out on https://test.bankid.com/.
I for some reason could not create a new bankid using opera on handelsbanken (it complained about my version) and had to use firefox.. but all the other stuff works just great in both opera and ff.
if you need to troubleshoot it you can do so by adding the following to ~/.personal/config/Personal.cfg

[Diagnostics]
Trace=/directory-you-want-the-log-in

and if it all goes to hell you run

sudo ./install.<your.version>.sh u

to uninstall!

its a quite nice point-and-click distro! only problem i had was that X discovered, and expanded my desktop to, two monitors. quite odd as i only got the one (even more so as the x60s only got one video-out)!
when checking the log i found it:

LVDS1?? simply disabling it worked as a charm tho

When choosing a music-player i went with deadbeef, imo the best one as it does what its supposed to do and isnt trying to be something else! After installing it i plugged in my cheapest-on-the-shelf usb-speakers, to get em to work i messed around with alsa and asound.conf for about five minutes before i went the gui-way and installed pulse audio control

and pointed and clicked my way there!

  first way to do it (did not work for me):
Clear all google apps data and reboot.
this is done by hitting menu at the home screen then tapping settings then navigate “Applications” >> “Manage applications” and tapping each google app and select clear data/cache (not shure about the name in english). reboot as usual and according to the internet it should now work.

  second way (did not work for me either):
connecting thru wifi using a static ip.
this is done by going into “Settings” >> “Wireless controls” >> “Wi-fi settings” >> (tap on <your network name> and press menu) >> “Advanced”, and entering a static ip which works with your router, gateway (which is usually your routers ip), netmask (usually 255.255.255.0 unless your on a big ass network) and dns servers (either the ones you got from your isp or OpenDNS, 208.67.222.222 and 208.67.220.220). now connect to your wireless network and it should work.

  third way (didnt even try this):
do a hard reset and enter your credentials when reinitializing your phone.
since this would clear out all my contacts, calendar entries and such i didnt try it.. but if you want to you just go into settings then “Security” >> “Factory Data Reset”. but remember that this will clear out all of your data!

  fourth way (which worked for me!)
root the phone and remove the settings manually.
to do this you need the android sdk and the instant root package (if you dont want to join the forum just download it from the bottom of this post). after installing the sdk connect your phone with the usb-cable (do not mount it or anything), open a terminal (in windows thats a dos-box) and navigate to the tools dir in the sdk dir and run

./adb install /path/to/InstantRoot.apk

/path/to should be replaced the path to InstantRoot.apk (if your using windows you should skip the ./ part).
take a look in your message bar in the phone and it should say that instant root was succesfully installed. then run

./adb remount
./adb shell
su
rm /data/data/com.android.providers.settings/databases/settings.db
exit
exit

this will clear all your google settings and you should now be able to connect to the appmarket/mail/storage and whatnot!
